ABOUT US: We are long time pitbull lovers with a dream of one day opening our own no-kill pitbull rescue shelter but since that dream is still a long way from becoming a reality we are instead concentrating on the educational aspects of pitbull awareness and trying to spread our love for these amazing animals one person at a time. For several years we have volunteered with various local animal shelters and over the past four years alone we have adopted five of our favorite furry friends which has only intensified our passion to help pitbulls any way we can no matter how small it may seem.
OUR MISSION: Taking our six pitbulls out among the general public often becomes a lesson on proper pitbull handling and responsible pitbull ownership because people usually approach us to express how surprised they are to see for themselves just how well behaved and gentle pitbulls can actually be when owned and loved by the right people. We take every opportunity we can to educate the public on the truth about pitbulls and the abuse and prejudice these often misunderstood creatures face from the government and society at large. To reach more people we are currently working on the "Ban Ignorance" project which has begun as an online campaign against bsl, irresponsible ownership, dog fighting, and the general ignorance that threatens to destroy this specific breed. We hope that despite starting off small that this project will grow into a nationwide network of people who love their pitbulls enough to advocate for pitbull rights and educate the general public in a positive way that will help lessen the ignorance concerning pitbulls. If each and every pitbull lover took advantage of any opportunity to educate people we could greatly reduce some of the hysteria and bad hype this breed faces. That is the mission of the ban ignorance project, we already know that the dogs are trainable but let's hope that the uneducated, misguided, and ignorant humans that pose the most danger to this breed are just as trainable!
SPECIAL NOTE: When we use the terms "pitbull or breed" it should be understood to encompass American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Most Bullie Breeds, Pitbull Mixes, or any other dog which commonly falls under the generic category of pitbull according to public opinion or breed specific legislation laws because of their similar traits and characteristics.
